The sixth reason in Jeff’s cumulative case for C.S. Lewis' broad impact is that he understood and articulated the concept of the “True Myth”. This is a concept that is ultimately very powerful mythology in that it points to Jesus Christ as the true Messiah, the One for whom many are looking in their cultural tales and legends. The setting for this video is the River Cherwell, outside Addison’s Walk, the place on the grounds of Magdalen College where Lewis first understood this concept; a concept that he would ultimately use to present Jesus Christ to many through his fiction and non-fiction alike
