The third mile of the journey is faith. Faith comes from understanding the nature and character of God. We see examples in Hebrews 11:17-40 of people who chose faith over fear and doubt, because God is trustworthy. The *three-mile walk* is a walk of faith from start to end. It sometimes requires us to move forward into the unknown, and at other times to wait actively in faith for God to move.
