During Jesus’ time, he wasn’t the only one making the claim that he was the Messiah. Today, the “saviors” we follow are a bit different. They take the form of money, fame, popularity, and power, among others. Just like the people in Jesus’ day, we have to be careful not to look to anything for our salvation except Christ.
